Gas prices in Europe have set a record, reaching $1,098 per thousand cubic meters, according to trade data.

At the time of publication, a megawatt-hour gas futures contract for November supply at the Dutch TTF hub was worth €89.75. Therefore, the price of one thousand cubic meters of gas equaled $1,098.35.
