The value of the most prestigious cryptocurrency has plummeted.

The price of bitcoin has dropped by more than 11% and now it is about $35,000. Then the price rebounded and amounted to $37,000.

At the end of the previous week Bitcoin surpassed the $41,000 mark for the first time by reaching its all-time maximum index – $41,057.

At the end of last year the data were released. It says that now the world has already mined about 19 million bitcoins. This year its number will increase to 21 million. But demand continues to exceed supply and the cryptocurrency still will rise in price. The rest 3-5 million bitcoins are lost forever due to forgotten passwords or damage of devices.
