Russian currency fell again

During trading on the Moscow Exchange, the ruble against the dollar fell to a minimum since November 16, 2020, according to the site data.

The American currency increased above 77 rubles, and the euro soared above 91 rubles, which happened for the first time since March 24. As of 15:53, the euro is traded at 91.04 rubles, the dollar – at 76.94 rubles.

The Moscow Exchange index is falling by one percent, the RTS index – by 2.2%. Such dynamics is observed despite the growth of oil prices. Since the beginning of the day, Brent and WTI have added 1.8 and 2 percent, to $63.3 and $60 per barrel, respectively, more than half making up for the decline one the eve.
