The exchange rate of the ruble strengthened on the stock exchange against the background of reports of a telephone conversation between US and Russian Presidents Biden and Putin, according to trade data.

At the time of publication, the dollar rate on the Moscow Exchange was equal to 76.15 rubles. Decrease in comparison with the level of the previous closing of trading session amounted to 1.2 rubles, or 1.5 percent.

The euro exchange rate at the time of publication was 90.87 rubles, which is 1.33 rubles, or 1.5 percent below the level of the closing of the trading session on April 12.
