Increase in the Russian stock market

The Russian stock market has been opened with the growth of the main stock indexes on Wednesday, November 17. The ruble index of the Moscow Exchange at the opening of the main trading session on the stock exchange increased slightly, having risen by 0.01 percent to 4120.23 points. The RTS currency index rose by 0.57 percent to 1,777.65 points.

Among “the blue chips” of the Moscow Exchange, at 10:05 am, the shares of NLMK (plus 0.58 percent, to 223.78 rubles per share), Polyus (plus 0.57 percent, to 15,866 rubles) and TCS Group (plus 0.45 percent, to 7429.2 rubles) increased mostly. The most depreciated were the securities of Yandex (minus 0.48 percent, to 5908.2 rubles), Gazprom (minus 0.44 percent, to 335.31 rubles) and Sberbank (minus 0.36 percent, to 336.7 rubles).

The dollar exchange rate was 72.97 rubles (minus 0.14 rubles), the euro cost 82.47 rubles (minus 0.27 rubles). Bitcoin continued to fall, dropping to $59,472.4 per coin (minus 2.31 percent).
