Durov was required to finance

Investors of the Da Vinci Capital fund demanded from the founder of the social network VKontakte and the Telegram messenger Durov to return tens of millions of dollars to them for the failed project of the Telegram Open Network (TON) blockchain platform and at the end of February notified him of their intention to file a corresponding claim.

According to the magazine, investors are demanding compensation in the amount of about $100 million. In case of refusal, investors will go to court in London within two weeks, “then other jurisdictions will follow.” A similar notification was sent to Telegram Vice President Perekopsky and other top managers and lawyers of TON.

A Telegram source close to the company’s top management confirmed the receipt of such a letter, but it indicates a different amount of claims – $20 million. Meanwhile, it is unknown whether this letter is the only one, the magazine specifies.
