Apple plans to invest more than $430 billion in the US economy over the next five years, according to the company’s resource. By comparison, this exceeds Russia’s 2020 annual budget of 19.5 trillion rubles (or $275 billion).

Such investments will allow the company to create an additional 20 thousand new jobs in the country. For example, Apple will spend part of the money on the development of 5G technologies, the purchase of components from American suppliers, and investments in data centers.

The corporation will also direct a billion dollars to projects in North Carolina, where it will build a new campus and an engineering hub. The investments will create at least 3,000 new jobs in areas such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, and software engineering.
