The US authorities dealt another blow to the Chinese company Huawei which is already under sanctions. The US government has notified several of Huawei’s suppliers about withdrawing of previously issued supply approvals to the Chinese company. In particular, it has also affected Intel – the largest manufacturer of PC processors and chips that are installed in many models of Huawei laptops.

According to the agency, all permits, which were previously issued by the US Department of Commerce to do business with Huawei, have been revoked, and new companies have been denied. These actions were the latest step by the Trump’s administration to weaken Huawei, which is viewed by Washington as a national security threat.

Previously, the US imposed a ban on Huawei’s technology and supply of processors for equipment, and accused the company of collaborating with the Chinese military and gathering information. The company is currently looking for a way to cope with the problems and reorient itself to the domestic market.
