Natura & Co. plans to delist from the New York Stock Exchange next month.

The São Paulo-based cosmetics company, which has a primary listing in Brazil, said in a statement to shareholders and the market that its board of directors on Jan. 18 approved a plan to voluntarily delist from the NYSE.

Natura was listed in January 2020 in connection with its acquisition of Avon Products Inc. Shares of that company were already listed and traded on the NYSE.

The company expects the NYSE to suspend trading in its shares around February 9.

Natura is already disposing of assets. In mid-November 2023, the group said it was selling The Body Shop to private equity firm Aurelius Investment, valuing the chain at £207 million.

Natura said at the time that following the sale of Aesop to L’Oréal, it was part of its efforts to streamline and simplify the business. The deal, which valued Aesop at more than $2.5 billion, closed at the end of August 2023.

Natura also said it is positioning itself to focus on strategic priorities, including the group’s integration in Latin America.
