At least 15% – this should be the tax on the income of individuals when withdrawing mined cryptocurrencies into fiat. This figure was voiced by Vladimir Gutenev, head of the State Duma Industry Committee.

According to Gutenev, the level of income tax for individual entrepreneurs or companies engaged in mining as a business should be at least 6%.

“If we equate cryptocurrencies with securities, if there are some gateways between those who mine, and when these mined coins become securities, they need to pay income tax. I think it should not be less than 15%. And the tax on the production itself should not be less than 6%,” said Vladimir Gutenev.
