McDonald’s is expected to lay off a number of corporate employees in the coming days in what will be a big week for the US labour market.

Fast-food restaurant chain McDonald’s (ticker: MCD) is temporarily closing its US offices and in an internal email asks employees to work from home from Monday to Wednesday to be able to communicate layoff decisions remotely. The memo also asks employees to cancel face-to-face meetings at company headquarters.
