Tesla increased its profit and brought it to a record

Tesla Elon Musk completed the first quarter of 2021 with a record profit. It grew 27 times to $438 million in January-March ($0.39 per share) compared to $16 million in the same period last year.

The manufacturer posted profit for the seventh straight quarter. Revenue increased from $5.99 to $10.39 billion. The company delivered more than half a million vehicles to the market in 2020 and 184.8 thousand vehicles worldwide in the first quarter.

Tesla has also raised $101 million in bitcoin sales since the beginning of the year. It is noted that the cost of electric vehicles in the first quarter increased by 13 percent compared to the same period a year earlier. The manufacturer’s shares fell 3.1 percent after the release of the report, inasmuch as the company did not indicate a specific figure for the delivery of vehicles for this year.
