The Russian stock market opened with the fall of the main stock indexes on Wednesday, October 13. At the opening of the main trading session on the stock exchange, the Moscow Exchange index dropped to 4254.57 points (minus 0.22 percent), the RTS index – to 1863.93 points (minus 0.32 percent).

The ruble has maintained its position against major currencies. At 10:01 Moscow time, the dollar exchange rate was 71.81 rubles (minus 0.05 rubles), the euro exchange rate was 82.95 rubles (plus 0.07 rubles).
