During trading the euro fell below 88 rubles, which has happened for the first time since March 19 this year, according to trading data on Tuesday, June 8.

As of 22:40, the euro is traded at 87.9 rubles, the dollar – 72.2 rubles.

Earlier, the analyst called the condition for the ruble to take off “to heaven”. In his opinion, the ruble exchange rate will be able to strengthen to the values of 2019 closer to the end of this year or by the beginning of 2022. He noted that this will happen if the coronavirus pandemic is defeated, and the raw material component in the Russian currency will give the same “explosive growth”.
