The Chinese yuan will become the world’s reserve currency instead of the dollar, and faster than expected, said billionaire investor Ray Dalio.

He believes that in the coming years the Chinese currency will be used for world trade and financial settlements, which will help it strengthen internationally.

Dalio, founder of one of the largest hedge funds in the world, Bridgewater Associates, is ranked 90th on the list of the world’s richest businessmen.
