Gazprom’s revenues have fallen sharply

Gazprom’s revenues from gas exports plummeted 39.6 percent year on year by reaching $25.25 billion.

The physical volume of gas exports decreased over the year by 9.7 percent (to 199.2 billion cubic meters). Meanwhile, the company’s revenues from gas sales in December increased by 8.4 percent compared to November (up to $3.085 billion). In December last year, the average export value of supplies rose to $156.6 per thousand cubic meters against $155.48 in November and $145 in October.
In February of this year, it became known that Gazprom would buy pipes for 33 billion rubles from a single supplier.

In January, Gazprom’s supplies to non-CIS countries reached a historically record level for this month. The company shipped 19.4 billion cubic meters. The current figure is 45.4 percent higher than the same period a year ago. Purchases have increased by such countries as Germany (plus 32.4 percent), Italy (221.5 percent), Turkey (20.8 percent), France (77.3 percent), the Netherlands (21.2 percent) and Poland (89.9 percent).
