Coca-Cola enters a new market (Pepsi is already there)

23.01.2023

Coke’s Simply brand was one of the company’s juice efforts. Its main line offers juices, lemonades and almond milk advertised as “all-natural.” Now the brand has moved into cocktail mixers with a new offering called Simply Mixology.

The line of fruity, all-natural juice drinks, made with the same near-natural ingredients that fans have come to expect from Simply Beverages’ rapidly growing portfolio, is designed to be consumed with or without alcohol. Simply Mixology’s three varieties – Strawberry Guava Mojito, Lime Margarita and Peach Sour – will be available starting Jan. 23 in 52-pound bottles in refrigerated juice store branches across the United States.

Coca-Cola said the new line fits several trends, both the increase in cocktail consumption and the growing trend of drinking non-alcoholic mocktails.

We know that Simply has been a favorite mixologist for 20 years – you can make a great screwdriver with Simply Orange Juice, a great Cape Codder with Simply Cranberry and a killer margarita with Simply Limeade. In creating Simply Mixology, we wanted to find a way to simplify and enhance your home drinking experience with great-tasting natural solutions that are not only great mixers, but also stand-alone pre-made cocktails.
