A mixed background is being formed today. On the one hand, we can expect a decline in quotations against the background of the publication of positive macroeconomic statistics on the US labor market in March. The unemployment rate fell by 0.2 percentage points up to 6%, employment in the non-agricultural sector amounted to 916 thousand in March, which has turned out to be the highest level in the last seven months.

There is no doubt that the American economy is quickly recovering from the crisis and the GDP growth rate in the United States this year will be higher than in the United Kingdom. On the other hand, I expect the growth of the oil prices, which may support the British currency, inasmuch as the pound has been historically correlated with black gold.
