Amazon was sued in Washington on suspicion of racial and gender discrimination.

According to the agency, the American law firm Wigdor LLP is the claimant. The firm declared that Amazon recruits and promotes blacks at a lower rate than white employees with the same level of knowledge.

Moreover, the corporation was accused of discrimination, harassment and violations of equal pay laws. The statement emphasizes that this practice “has a particularly serious influence on black women working for the company.”
