Shares of the international payment system PayPal plummeted by 12.2 percent, from 229.42 to 201.5 dollars per share, during trading on the exchange on November 9. As a result of the main trading session, the securities slightly corrected, having risen in price to $205.42.

The reason for the fall was the publication of the forecast for the next year. The company announced disappointing sales estimates for fear of lower consumer spending.
