Trust Wallet’s TWT rose 7 per cent, topping the top 100 cryptocurrencies

Trust Wallet token (TWT) rose 7.38 per cent to $1.08. The token rose US$1.08 in the 24 hours leading up to 8:15 p.m. in Hong Kong and led the rise among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation on Wednesday.

TWT, the native token of the Trust Wallet non-tradable cryptocurrency wallet, rose 15.01 per cent over the past seven days, the third-biggest gain among the top 100 coins2.

TWT’s price rise follows a major update and rebranding by the cryptocurrency wallet provider.

The update includes a new logo, redesigned app interface, simplified navigation, introduction of light and dark themes, improved wallet switching, and a new cryptocurrency wallet slogan “Trust Yourself”.

Trust Wallet is a hot wallet, or cryptocurrency storage service, accessed over the Internet and has more than 70 million users. According to the company’s official website, the wallet supports more than 100 blockchains.

In 2018, Trust Wallet was acquired by Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange.
