Crypto.com adds Reddit’s Moons token

19.07.2023

Moons, the native token of cryptocurrency users on Reddit, is now listed on Crypto.com, causing its price to rise for the second day in a row.

The token rose 141% during the day and is trading at $0.41. On Monday, the price of Moons had already tripled on news that cryptocurrency exchange Kraken was considering listing it.

While Crypto.com joins a number of other exchanges already supporting the token, including MEXC, Gate.io, SushiSwap, and RCP Swap, its size has given some Reddit users reason to be particularly bullish.

Today’s announcement caused a stir on the already busy cryptocurrency subreddit (r/Cryptocurrency), which has over 6.5 million users.

Despite reports surfacing yesterday that Kraken employees were considering offering Moons on its platform, the exchange clarified that there are no such intentions at this time.

Reddit has become a major focal point for digital asset proponents over the years. It was founded in 2005 by Steve Huffman and Alexis Ohanian, the latter of whom left the company in 2020 to establish himself as a leader in cryptocurrencies and NFTs.
