Former banker and current UK MP Harriet Baldwin doesn’t see crypto as a real investment. She, along with the head of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) Nikhil Rati, expressed her opinion at the last meeting.

More specifically, it was about the fact that some financial companies use the term investment in their advertising in relation to cryptocurrencies. Rati said that the regulator now cannot control such use of terms, since the FCA does not have enough powers and called for their expansion.
