As of 13:29, the American currency is trading at the level of 70.48 rubles. The euro rate dropped to 82.05 rubles.

After the Central Bank said about a sharp increase in the key rate from 6.75 percent to 7.5 percent, the dollar fell below 70 rubles, to 69.98 rubles. The euro fell to 81.42 rubles.
