Gas prices in Europe hit records again

For the first time in history, the gas price in Europe has exceeded the $1,200 per thousand cubic meter. According to the London Stock Exchange, the new price for November futures on the Dutch TTF hub at a maximum on October 1 was $1205.25 per thousand cubic meters.

By the time the article was published, there had been a slight drop in prices to $1,185.2 per thousand cubic meters. Gas in Europe is rising in price at a record pace: on September 30, its cost reached $1,098, and yesterday – $1,061.
