Oil field was found in China

China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) has found a new oil field in the Bohai Bay.

Its reserves are estimated at 100 million tons. “The Kenli 10-2” field is located in the southern part of the bay, about 245 kilometers from Tianjin. The average distance from the sea surface to the bottom in this area is 15.7 meters.

In August, it became known that the Chinese state energy company Sinopec was finding a new oil and gas source with a volume of 100 million tons in the Tarim Basin in the Shunbei region of Xinjiang.
