The ruble exchange rate at the beginning of the trading session on Tuesday, September 21, rose by 0.23 rubles against the dollar as compared to the previous trading level. As of 10:01 Moscow time, it was 73.23 rubles. The euro exchange rate fell by 0.21 rubles to 85.94 rubles.

The Moscow Exchange index rose by 0.37 percent, to 3984.20 points, the RTS index – by 0.75 percent, to 1713.37 points. The Russian stock market showed growth for the first time in several days. As a result of trading on September 20, the Mosbirzh index dropped by 1.62 percent, to 3969.61 points, having lost almost all of its growth since the beginning of the month.
