The value of the most popular cryptocurrency, bitcoin, has jumped to record in the past few months. According to trade data, by the morning of Monday, September 6, the price of bitcoin was 51.63 thousand dollars per coin – the maximum since May 2021.

The price of the main cryptocurrency reached a record peak in April. Then the cost of bitcoin exceeded 65 thousand dollars, but then the price sharply declined: in July, the cost of bitcoin fell below 30 thousand dollars. By the end of August, the cryptocurrency surpassed the psychological mark of $50 thousand apiece again.

Analysts attribute the current growth to the situation on world markets and the general interest of investors in risky assets against the background of growth in major shares.
