At the online meeting of the leaders of the APEC forum, Russian President Putin said that the country had overcome the economic consequences of the coronavirus pandemic.

According to him, generally, the Russian economy has recovered, and already this year the measures, which were taken, will make it possible to confidently move to the growth of basic economic indicators.

Earlier, the Ministry of Economy and Development substantially raised the forecast for GDP growth this year. According to the updated data, it should be 3.8 percent against 2.9 percent earlier.
