The US economy is hard to recover

Against the background of success in the fight against the pandemic and the lifting of coronavirus restrictions, the US authorities are counting on economic recovery, but the country has faced some obstacles on the way to implementing its plans.

Business anomalies were pointed out by the head of the Federal Reserve Bank in Richmond, Thomas Barkin. He noted that amusement parks are forced to limit opening hours due to staff shortages, which persist despite high unemployment rates, and the auto industry is slowing production due to supply problems during a period when it is hitting record sales. “Who knew that getting back to normal work would be so difficult?” – Barkin remarked.

American consumers have the opportunity to spend money now, thanks to continuing public support measures. In recent weeks, spending on the service sector has increased, and restaurants have also noted the influx of visitors. However, the owners of establishments complain that there is not enough staff to serve customers.
