Christine Lagarde announced that 100 million residents of the European Union are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, which makes it possible to count on an improvement in the epidemiological situation by August 1. According to the head of the ECB, in the second half of the year, we should expect a rapid acceleration of economic growth in the eurozone, thanks to the large-scale vaccination of the population.

The ECB expects not only an increase in consumer demand, but also an increase in capital expenditures of European corporations. Low interest rates now allow companies to increase their debt burden to expand production capacity.
