As of 15:31, the dollar was trading at 72.37 rubles, and the euro – 88.18 rubles. The strengthening of the currency is taking place despite the decline in oil prices.

According to analysts, after the publication of inflation data, the regulator has no choice but to continue raising the rate. On the eve, the expert said that the rise in prices in annual terms amounted to 6.02 percent in May. Inflation exceeded six percent for the first time in five years.
