Oil in Russia began to be sold and produced worse

Russian oil exports to non-CIS countries fell by 15.7 percent in January-May 2021 and amounted to 85.36 million tons.

Average daily exports were 4.14 million barrels. Meanwhile, Russian companies increased oil supplies to Belarus by 60.7 percent, selling 5.85 million tons.

Oil production in Russia decreased by 6.3 percent in January-May on an annualized basis (to 212.22 million tons). Average daily production was 10.3 million barrels. Gas production, on the contrary, has increased. In annual terms, the growth was 11 percent (up to 325.25 billion cubic meters). In May, the country produced 62.74 billion cubic meters, which is 19.6 percent more compared to the same period last year.
