Rosneft shares rose 2.28 percent at the last trading session. The company’s shares traded better than the market, and their price at the close was 537.1 rubles. Trading volume amounted to 2.7 billion rubles. Meanwhile, as of 12:59 pm on May 5, the value of the company’s shares increased by 1.31 percent and amounted to 544.20 per share, according to the data of the exchange.

Analysts of the investment company BCS consider it highly probable that the price of securities will continue to rise in the coming days to levels of 548–552 rubles per share.

“Rosneft is the first oil company whose shares have returned to the levels observed before the February-March sale. Rosneft quotes have risen by 69 percent since the minimums of November 2020. The company’s share value has already reached historic maximums of 548-580 rubles, but in the medium term, the securities have a global growth target at the level of 620-650 rubles per share,” BCS analysts believe.
