Development Director of Noble Russian Finance Club in an interview with “Prime” agency talked about cases when it is necessary to prefer the ruble to the dollar.

According to the financier, when choosing a currency for long-term savings, Russians find it difficult to choose the ruble over the dollar. So, over the past 30 years, the ruble has depreciated against the dollar.

“However, if you pay closer attention to the charts, for example, over the past seven years, you can see that between short peak rises in the dollar against the ruble, there are quite long,” the specialist pointed out, noting that the strengthening during these periods can be up to 30-40 percent.
