According to Coindesk, on March 13, one bitcoin was given 59.354 thousand dollars (4.348 million rubles). Therefore, the record was broken at the end of February, when the value of bitcoin exceeded 57 thousand dollars for the first time.

Cryptocurrency has quadrupled in price in 2020. The peak was passed on February 22, after which the fall began. In March, the rate began to rise again against the background of the hype around NFT tokens, a technology for registering works of art based on the Ethereum cryptocurrency. On March 11, the work of the artist Mike Winkelmann, registered as NFT, went from the Christieʼs auction for 69.3 million dollars (more than five billion rubles).
