Collapse of the oil production

In Russia, in January-February 2021, the volume of oil and gas condensate production fell by 11.9 percent in annual terms (to 81.6 million tons).

Average daily production was at the level of 10.14 million barrels. In February, the country produced 38.56 million tons of raw materials, which is 13.8 percent less than in February previous year. Average daily production was 10.1 million barrels.

The price of Brent crude oil fell below $63 a barrel on March 2 for the first time since February 22, according to data from the ICE exchange. During the trades, oil dropped to $62.54 per barrel.
