The future of the American economy is not so vague

The head of one of the world’s largest investment banks Standard Chartered, Winters, in an interview with CNBC, reassured the Americans about the future of the national economy against the background of the situation on the stock market.

According to the financier, the stock market is vulnerable to speculative excitement now, which is fraught with the rapid collapse of price bubbles. Meanwhile, securities of companies from some sectors, primarily banking, on the contrary, are underestimated.

The general tendency in the market is characterized by a tendency to rise in price of shares. This is reflected in the dynamics of futures prices for many indices, including the leading industrial index Dow Jones, futures for which rose to a record level at the end of February.
