Russia breaks records in the export of goods again

The volume of supplies of non-primary non-energy goods from Russia abroad amounted to $161.3 billion in 2020. This was announced by the Russian Export Center (REC), “Prime” reports.

It is specified that this has become a new absolute record for the country. The last achievement was established in 2019, when Russia exported goods worth $155.1 billion.

The main part of the structure of non-resource non-energy exports (NOE) was formed by metal products (20.8 percent), engineering products (17.7 percent), food (17.3 percent) and chemical products (16 percent). The main buyers of Russian products were China ($16.4 billion), Kazakhstan (12.3 billion), Belarus (9.4 billion), Turkey (8.15 billion) and the Netherlands (6.2 billion).
