Economist predicted the dollar rate by early spring.

According to him, within the next one or two months the dollar exchange rate will remain in the range of 73–77 rubles. The expert pointed out that if new anti-Russian sanctions are not introduced, or the Central Bank does not sharply change its policy, there is some chance that the dollar exchange rate will be fixed at this mark for a longer period. Meanwhile, Marishin emphasized that, given the uncorrected growth of oil since October, there is a possibility of a short-term decline in commodity prices and, thereby, a fall in the ruble.

According to the Bank of Russia, as of February 13, the US dollar exchange rate was 73.9378 rubles, and the euro – 89.6052 rubles.
