Rosneft was included in the FTSE4Good again

FTSE Russell, a unit of the London Stock Exchange, has confirmed that Rosneft remains a member of the FTSE4Good Index Series. At the end of 2020, the FTSE Russell rating of Rosneft was raised to 3.9 points out of 5. According to its indicators, the company is ahead of 84 percent of the participants in the ICB supersector rating of the international oil and gas industry (Industry Classification Index).

The FTSE4Good Index group evaluates the largest global companies based on environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance and transparency in disclosure of information. The FTSE4Good Emerging Indexes were formed in 2016 and include 545 companies (23 Russian index participants) with a total capitalization of over $3 trillion from more than 20 developing countries.

“Rosneft” is the best Russian oil and gas company in a number of internationally recognized ESG ratings – Refinitiv, the global corporate human rights rating CHRB, and also it is one of the leading companies in the international CDP ratings in the climate and water categories.
